About David Winkelman

My experience in change facilitation includes a Fortune 100 track record, Ernst & Young global management consulting—and agile problem solving for diverse organizations in aerospace, healthcare mergers, B2B, and consumer products. Clients I’ve worked with include: Boeing, HP, Toyota, Coca-Cola, a national property and casualty insurance company, NASA, Ernst & Young, Ford Motor Credit Corp, BP, Kaiser Permanente, Eaton Industries, and numerous non-profits.

As a project manager, author, public speaker, creative director, and designer & developer of innovative experiential learning programs—I aim for collaboration and transformation in any project I take on.


  • Design and implementation of a “War Room” for the largest seasonal retailer in the US.
  • Planning and execution of a $100K corporate office relocation which included the design and construction of new offices, along with a conversion from physical to digital document archiving of almost 1-million documents.
  • Staffing high-pressure, 3-day strategic planning events for 40-80 person teams; developing training curricula and processes for sales and customer service personnel.
  • Launching an industry-changing initiative with insurance companies leading to the first Direct Repair Program (DRP) in San Diego, and a 50% increase in sales for the company.

I’m a certified trainer of Emotional and Social Intelligence under the TalentSmart brand—as well as a designer of unique workshops on Mindful Breathing and Clarity—which help teams increase their productivity, manage stress and improve communication.
